Music begins at 6:30pm and service begins at 7:00pm. This is a worship service designed to lead our guests into a deep level of communion with the Holy Spirit. It is accomplished through contemporary, meditative music, bible readings and communion. We hope to see you there. |

St. Barnabas' Annual General Meeting (following the 11 am service)
Our Parish Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday February 12, 2012 - We encourage all Coordinators of various ministries to have the Annual Reports into the Parish Office by Sunday January 22, 2012 so that the reports can be collated for distribution and everyone has an opportunity to peruse them. |

TWO DIOCESAN SYNOD CONVENTIONS SCHEDULED - April & June 2012
The Anglican Diocese of Calgary, has scheduled two synod meetings for 2012.
A Regular Convention of Synod will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The purpose of the convention is to appoint the new Diocesan Council and elect delegates to Provincial and General Synods and to conduct any other business that may arise.
A Special Convention of Synod (Electoral) will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 to elect the Ninth Bishop of the Diocese of Calgary.
For more info: http://www.calgary.anglican.ca. Anyone wishing to be nominated as a synod delegate should be prepared to attend both synods. At the annual general meeting we will elect three synod delegates, one of which must be a member of the Parish Council.
