St. Barnabas' Prayer Chain group is to bring the needs of parishioners to God in intercessory prayer during each hour of the day.

There are 12 dedicated members of the congregation who faithfully pray for the sick and suffering, shut-ins, bereaved, troubled and disturbed and for the church in general.

Cards are also sent out to shut-ins to remind them they are not forgotten, we are thinking of them and remembering them in prayer.

Prayers are said on a daily basis, during various hours beginning at 6:00 am.

Prayer requests can be made by placing a note in the prayer request box in the narthex, by contacting the clergy, parish office or a member of the prayer chain.
