In the Book of Common Prayer, this Sunday is known as Quinquagesima, the 50th day before Easter. There will be a gathering after the 10:15 AM service on February 22 for families with babies and children to discuss how families use our facilities and to brainstorm what improvements could be suggested.

Walking Together in Prayer and Support
Father Thomas Gatluak is currently in the process of sponsoring his wife and children so that their family may be reunited in Canada after years of separation due to conflict and displacement.
Father Thomas has initiated a GoFundMe appeal to assist with one-time, upfront expenses only, including immigration application fees, required medical documentation, travel to Canada, and initial settlement needs.
Parishioners and friends are invited to hold the family in prayer, to share the appeal within their own networks, and, for those who feel able, to offer financial support.
Further details may be found here: https://www.gofundme.com/u/thomas-tut-gatluak |

Wild Paths of Peace
Wild Paths of Peace, written by Martha Jarvis, explores the unexpected hope of peacemaking at time of conflict in the world and in our personal lives. As the Anglican Communion’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Jarvis works to create partnerships between churches and UN teams as they respond to conflict, climate change and forced movement of people. Jarvis has also facilitated church-led peacemaking in South Sudan and Mozambique. Throughout it all, she’s seen nothing that compares to the power of people coming back together after conflict, and ultimately, coming back to faith through Jesus. This resource will be available for download, or subscribe to receive it as a free daily email message throughout Lent (beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 18, 2026. For more infomation visit:
