Voices of HopeA Partner with Alongside Hope Countless children and families have faced fear, loss, and displacement because of the ongoing war that’s happening in Ukraine. Voices of Children, a partner of Alongside Hope, is providing urgent support when it is needed most. Through a 21-day therapeutic camp in the Carpathian mountains, children and their caregivers are given a safe place to rest and recover while feeling like kids again. Away from the sounds of war, trained therapists use art and conversation to help children talk about their experiences and begin the process of healing. This support is especially important right now. As the war continues, the impacted children are carrying deep emotional pain. Without help, that trauma can last for years. By teaching simple coping skills and helping families reconnect, Voices of Children gives them hope, stability, and a path forward. In the middle of crisis and war, this care is making a real difference.
