Third Sunday of EasterApril 19 The Most Rev. Greg Kerr-Wilson will join us for a service of confirmation on Sunday, June 7th. Confirmation classes, open to those 12 years and older, will be held in May. Please speak to Kersi if you would like to be confirmed. Do you speak a different language? Please contact the office if you would like to pray or do a reading in that language during the 10:15 AM service on Pentecost, May 24. There will be a meeting for coffee hour teams on Sunday, April 26th at 9:30 AM in the lower hall. The intercessory prayer list is renewed at the beginning of each month to ensure it reflects current needs. To include a name for the month of May, please email office@stbarnabas.ca by April 28.

Children of all ages are invited to join us for a fun and engaging time of learning, singing, and growing in faith. If you are interested in volunteering with Sunday School please talk to Abra after the service! Sunday school will be held on April 26.

St. Barnabas Baby Celebration
We will joyfully celebrate the spring 2026 babies on Sunday, April 19th following the 10:15 AM service. The parents are: Abra and Michael Morrell; Katie and Denver Barg; Katharina and Riley Gramlich; Bronte and Kevin Chiang; and Kaitlin Marasco and Tim Heger. All are warmly invited to join us for cake as we offer our congratulations, support, and prayers for these growing families. Cards are welcome; however, we request, if you have any other items, that you give them directly to the parents after the celebration. Alongside Hope
The escalating military violence in the Middle East has been worsening and widening, with humanitarian needs rising rapidly. As a member of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, Alongside Hope is participating in a Humanitarian Coalition campaign to raise funds. Please support our Alongside Hope fundraiser. Flower Calendar
To sponsor altar flowers, sign up on the flower calendar posted on the bulletin board in the narthex. As there is room for only one set of flowers on the altar, if someone has already signed up for the date you wish, we request that you choose another date. Cost of flower sponsorship is $60 and is included in the calculation of your tax receipt. Please contact the office by Tuesday of the week before your sponsorship date to provide your dedication to be printed in the bulletin. |
